Ukraine’s Surrogacy Requirements
In Ukraine, surrogacy is legally permitted exclusively for heterosexual couples only.
- At least one of the intended parents must have a genetic connection to the child.
- The intended parents must be legally married or in a civil partnership.
- They must be medically unable to carry a pregnancy to term. This could be due to the absence of the womb, deformation of the uterus, or repeated unsuccessful IVF cycles.

Phenotypic Traits
